Muse Planning 'Huge' Collaboration for V Festival

MuseRockers Muse are planning a secret collaboration to make their Virgin Mobile V Festival slot blow Glastonbury away, according to the band's drummer, Dom Howard.

The V Festival sold out in minutes, while tickets for Glastonbury -- where rapper Jay-Z is one of the headline acts -- are still available.

Dom says, "We are looking into a big collaboration for V but we need to see if itll work out first.

"Its good to get back out on the road. It keeps us fresh as we dont like to sit around.

"Were doing some shows in Europe and South America but you really have to step it up at a festival.

"Even though we have a good live reputation we put a lot of thought and planning into our shows."

Dom also revealed that the band -- whose last album, Black Holes & Revelations, gained a Mercury Prize nomination -- are well on their way to finishing their next album.

He adds, "Weve written three or four new songs and theyre sounding sweet."
